Our media has reluctantly stopped ignoring the behemoth in the room and published a vanilla summary of the corruption scandal erupting in Ukraine. They made sure to make several mentions of Zelensky not being implicated yet they epically failed to demonstrate any journalistic integrity.

Honest, transparent reporting would be of great benefit to the Canadian citizenry since our government gifted Ukraine millions of our tax dollars specifically to support their energy needs, the same energy needs that are at the epicentre of this scandal. There were no attempts to ask our government officials for comments or for their plans on holding Ukraine’s government accountable so that our government, in turn, could be accountable to us.
