@mnewla @ShannonBrooke01 @TheDemCoalition Over my career, I’ve interacted quite a bit with CEOs, CFOs and Boards of Directors of large multinational companies. I know how they think and what motivate$ them.
Believe it when you hear reports of #Greedflation as the main cause of inflation. @CNN@MSNBC@latimes
You don’t lose your scientific base to your trading competitors at this scale and recover overnight if you just change the government.
The damage Trump is doing with his campaign of science denial and attempting to make dumb the new smart will in many cases be irreparable.
Academics are not the enemy of the people, they are the foundations on which future prosperity are built.
The level of self harm being caused by political dogma is beyond comprehension.

We need a massive change in our defense strategy. US is already rationing defensive munitions, even though it’s only been 5 months of war against a second rate Iranian military.
Russia and China will outlast US in future conflicts unless we change our strategy.
Grocery prices are up
Mortgage rates are up
Residential energy prices are up
Gasoline prices are up
We are still at war in Iran
Black and Latino unemployment are higher than when he took office.
Inflation is higher now than when he started his second term.
National debt is up
Canada, the entire country, had 672 homicides in 2025.
Texas had 1700
California had 1700
Florida had 1000
Illinois had 800
Yes, Canada is a very safe country.
“It’s going to get worse before it gets better.” With wildfires spreading in Europe, environmentalist Bill McKibben warns that “this is the appetizer and we’re headed for… the main course over the next 12 months,” with the approach of El Niño.
This is why we need to pass the bipartisan AI Kill Switch Bill asap.
Right now, and into the future, there will be circumstances when we realize an AI frontier model has capabilities beyond what we thought, or has gone rogue.
Humans need the ability to turn these things off.
An easier starting point to empower people is to require all plans to count cash pay purchases that are cheaper than what the plan offers, against the member deductible
That gives everyone a chance to shop for the things they can shop for
And then require all healthcare related contracts to be published. Including prices.
That allows everyone to learn
Lots more from there. You can seem them in my timeline
Dear @WhiteHouse: Please send trump to every swing district. Put vulnerable Republicans right next to him on stage.
He can tell voters directly that gas prices are not high, and that the “affordability” crisis is a Democratic hoax.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
THE COST OF TRUMP‘S UNCONSTITUTIONAL WAR
18 U.S. servicemembers dead & 600 wounded
4,300 Lebanese dead
3,500 Iranians dead
70 Israelis dead & 7,800 wounded
$100+ billion spent and counting
NO MORE ENDLESS WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST
As temperatures rise, “America is making a concerted effort to make the problem worse as fast as it possibly can,” argues environmentalist Bill McKibben.
“We've shut down wind farms that are 90% finished off the Atlantic seaboard, put the federal land off-limits to solar panels, done every possible thing we could to buck up 18th century energy technology.”
In reality US had the 15th highest per capita COVID death rate in the world and a lot of that had to do with the fact that 20% of the country remained unvaccinated. He called the mRNA vaccines the deadliest vaccines ever. RFK Jr is entitled to his own opinion but not his own facts.
The economy has lost about 75,000 manufacturing jobs so far this Trump term...
...and Obama didn't say it was impossible to bring back American manufacturing; he actually boasted about how many manufacturing jobs were being created during his presidency, including jobs brought back from other countries.
Rather, in the 2016 comments Trump has often criticized and mischaracterized, Obama said US manufacturing was thriving but that Trump hadn't presented any specifics to explain how he'd supposedly bring back certain manufacturing jobs Obama called "jobs of the past." https://t.co/XrpswxS5fX
Sounds great. Disconnect from employment. But the same companies that are taking advantage and manipulating your employer, are better at manipulating and taking advantage of you.
I remember going to work in early 2020 genuinely thinking I might catch this new virus and die, as other doctors had.
I won't forget - however much everyone else tries to erase history
“The diary does not provide the smoking gun the senator is seeking. Rather, it echoes past disclosures showing Dr. Fauci wrestling with a fast-moving crisis as scientists’ views evolved”
https://t.co/4Fa22Td1ta
Fauci made mistakes but let's be honest the witch hunt against him has nothing to do with science or what actually happened in real time during the pandemic
Its about scapegoating and conspiracy theory
Filmed last week in Tampa. Senior dog wing. Elderly man named Robert, 82, visiting shelter with walker. Moving slowly. Carefully.
Daughter brought him. "Dad, you need companionship. Maybe a senior dog?" Robert skeptical. "I'm too old. Can barely walk." Staff brought Robert to senior wing. Five older dogs.
Robert looked at 13-year-old Beagle named Walter.
Both gray. Both moving carefully. Both slow. Robert knelt slowly beside Walter. Took two minutes to get down. Walter watched patiently. Waiting. When Robert finally down, Walter walked slowly into Robert's arms. Both gray faces pressed together.
Both breathing heavy from effort. Daughter filming.
Crying. "Dad, Walter moves exactly like you. Same pace. Same careful steps." Robert started crying.
"Walter's old like me. Walter understands." Robert told us: "My wife passed away last year. I'm 82. Can barely walk. Thought I was too old for a dog. Then I see Walter. 13 years old. Gray. Slow. Careful. Just like me. Walter doesn't need someone young and energetic. Walter needs someone who moves at his speed. That's me." Robert adopted Walter last week .
They walk together every morning. Both using slow, careful steps. Same pace. Matching. Robert posted on X: "I'm 82 with walker. Adopted
13-year-old dog. We're both old. Both slow. Both gray. We match perfectly. Walter and I will grow old together at the same pace." Post went viral. 5 million views. Comments: "Perfect match." "Two seniors helping each other." Veterinarian said,
"Robert and Walter will extend each other's lives.
Companionship and purpose. They need each other."
A post by a paid influencer in 2026 can reach more voters than any billboard, even many broadcast ads.
But there is no requirement for a political disclaimer telling people who paid for it.
That must change.
I’m introducing legislation alongside @RepMarkTakano to require transparency.
