Scratching the old Ark itch. Way better than I remember it ngl. Maybe I was too harsh all those years ago? Either way I'm loving the changes to Ascended, so many QOL improvements. I love seeing UE5 used to its fullest potential, or at least close to it.
Republicans calling Democrats idiots, Democrats calling Republicans idiots, so much hate for what? We treat the "other side" as less than human when there is no other side. American politics are so fucked
The more i learn about game dev the more i realize that ark is secretly a great game plagued by bugs. I'll never understand why they allowed so many bugs, always a head-scratcher. The artists are actually crazy though, WC is lucky to have them!
A game jam from a popular UE5 youtuber starts soon, gonna stream the process of making a game in 2 weeks. If you've ever wanted to see how games are made this is the series for you https://t.co/GoD5pSAERK
Stop telling people it's hard to make games. Unreal Engine's blueprint makes it legitimately EASY to get started. Sure, it takes a lot of time and problem solving to make a fully custom, optimized and complex game. But it's not HARD. Just gotta be willing to learn and fail
Probably gonna make youtube videos again very soon, but this time it'll be centered around game dev. The SPLIT SECOND I'm able to hire someone to run it for me tho I'll do it lol it's 100% a MUST if i wanna launch anything commercially and live off it.
So I've sold a few copies of my game jam games, and it got me thinking. How do I make real money making games? I want to start a bigger project and not continue making small jam games, but I'm not sure where to start. Any successful devs out there have any advice? #gamedev#ue5
