The World Bank has given over USD 421 Million so far for Amaravati capital projects. Asian Development Bank also must have released the same amount as both the institutions committed USD 1.6 billion for Amaravati (USD 800 Mn each).

The interesting part is WB also started levying interest and other fees also which amounts to over USD 5 million so far.

The repayment of the loan starts from 2030.

Loan principal: USD 1.6 billion (Rs 13,520 crore @ USD + Rs 84.50)

Total repaid over 29 years: about USD 3.97 billion (Rs 33,523 crore

Total interest: about Rs 20,003 crore

Grace years (years 1-6): interest only, about USD 120 million, or Rs 1,014 crore per year

Repayment years (years 7-29): about USD 148.1 million, or Rs 1,251 crore per year.
This covers only WB+ABD loan, no other loans fro Amaravati project

ఆసక్తికరమైన విషయం ఏమిటంటే, ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు వడ్డీ మరియు ఇతర రుసుములను కూడా వసూలు చేయడం ప్రారంభించింది; ఇవి ఇప్పటివరకు 5 మిలియన్ డాలర్లకు పైగా ఉన్నాయి.
