Also...If the wiretap went on for 2 years...then...investigators would have had to return to a judge roughly every 30 days, resulting in approximately 24 separate judicial authorizations or extensions. Each extension would require the judge to find that the legal requirements continued to be met. Which means..they have the goods.

Latest on the Newsom Investigation: Investigators are said to have extensive wiretap evidence and transcripts and are seeking to identify and charge as many individuals involved as possible. The suggestion is that additional people are implicated beyond those publicly known. Names that have not yet been leaked.
