Until soccer is up there with the most popular sports in America, we will dilute the player pool compared to other countries were soccer is THE sport. Which, unfortunately, may not happen for a long time if ever. It's just the reality of our sports culture.

@AlexiLalas I think at this point it's becoming increasingly more obvious that we just lose our top level talent to other sports, whereas in other countries soccer is THE sport. I don't really know how that changes in America, short of soccer somehow becoming way more popular than it is now
