@VanDaManDFS1776@Whataburger Legit the slowest fast food place I’ve ever experienced and it’s not just NC. We lived in Dallas and all of them were notoriously slow. Quality wasn’t really an issue for us but the time definitely was.
If the RODE NTH‑100s were a person, they’d be that super‑nice friend who gives amazing hugs but has the bone structure of a Victorian child. Comfort? Elite. I could wear these things through a full workday, a road trip, and a midlife crisis. But durability? Let’s just say the headband‑to‑earmuff connection has the structural integrity of a breadstick.
As someone with a larger head, I quickly discovered these don’t expand so much as they politely decline to. They stop stretching at “medium‑sized melon,” and my skull is apparently in the “family‑size watermelon” category.
The hinges have broken on me more than once, but electrical tape has stepped in like the world’s cheapest orthopedic surgeon. They now look like they’ve survived a small war, but hey — they still sound great.
Bonus points for the cable being able to plug into either earcup. That’s a feature every headphone should have, especially when you’re constantly repositioning them to avoid stressing the taped‑up joints like a fragile antique.
