@DolmanJessie Having the ability to know someone without meeting them is worrisome and dangerous. We have the means to do so without even striking a conversation first. Scary but the reality
@DolmanJessie technology is laways advancing and theres no stopping that. Its all about adapting to the new technologies around and not being consumed by the advancements as a whole. Web 1.0 to 2.0 was a huge step and although we adapted, we are also being consumed within it
@DolmanJessie Whenever doing anything people should always be enlightened on the possible outcomes both positive and negative in order to make an intelligent and educated decision. We must have access to all necessary information
@coraliebegh This cant be seen as a problem as its human nature to act in real time. All our reflexes and reactions are based on real time impulses. We must practice in order to not lose our human touch
@adamfss45 It is evolving so quickly that we no longer have time to adapt to all the different technologies out there but rather pick a few. But these few are able to consume our time while we gradually lose our human touch
@DolmanJessie interaction is almost becoming a thing of the past as technological users can just receive instant gratification from their devices and social media taking away the element and necessity of face to face conversation
@DolmanJessie The entirety of human touch is being consumed by technology sucking it directly out of people and making them rely heavily on technology rather than eachother.
@Caro_EDUC307 Yes, it is so easy to use it as a scapegoat that its almost become a default or reflex for people to do to get out of situations that they rather not be in.
@maxdouglashearn I agree they have this so called "security blanket" but in reality youre just securing yourself from your counterparts reactions. The acknowledgement of their action isnt directly processed in real time
@JessicaForcione Thats an interesting rule, but it always starts with one. If one person is capable of making two others take out their phone, why wouldnt you just be the first to do so? this can create a vicious circle of not being present during human interaction
@DolmanJessie It does illustrate freedom of speech but it also entices people to conduct hate crimes based on 0 precautionary measures as well as no real punishment or acknowledgement of what they just did.
@JessicaForcione As much as it is sad, it is quite true. Humans rely less and less on their peers as they can get instant gratification from being online.
@DolmanJessie Social media platforms must create safer spaces for users to go to where they dont have to worry about possible hate crimes towards them. #safespace
