Hey @McFranchisee. A train station form the Canal Zone was transformed into a McDonald’s. Lasted 33 years and they shut down yesterday.

@cblunt58 The issue with the committee is the weekly show of the rankings. The moving of goal posts to justify things, justifications that apply only one time etc. They have made some mistakes but overall it’s the lack of trust in the process they need to fix. BCS formula helps with that

@MichaelKudrna Demand for delivery has to fall and restaurants have to all jump off the cliff together. But they won’t. Most will cave in the first week. So delivery menu has to be specific and priced higher. Some things are only for in my restaurant. Cannot get them on the apps

@MichaelKudrna We just had a strike for the main delivery company here. About 2 weeks. Each time they strike I get the numbers: without them we are more profitable. But when they are back cannot turn it off, people won’t show up; they’ll just order from another brand on the app.

@MichaelKudrna Easy setup since no gateway needed IF you have a strong signal to your walk in. Otherwise it’s basically the same needing to have a WiFi repeater installed. Reporting is great. Price is very reasonable.

@McFranchisee @McDonaldsCanada We don’t carry Diet Coke (coca cola light is what it’s called here) in our chicken finger brand. So little movement for that product. Coke Zero is the “diet” option and moves well. Have regular coke, ginger ale (no sprite in post mix here), strawberry & orange soda with fuse tea

@MichaelKudrna Like seriously how am I going to sell a chicken finger to 900,000+ people in other countries. I know you have people travel to get your premium items but from Europe, China, Venezuela and Argentina is a bit ambitious.

@MichaelKudrna Going to be an echo chamber. TikTok certainly adds value but I wonder how many of those 20M metrics are in a country without a Sweetgreen. Got a media kit from someone with 1M followers, only 80k in Panama. No value there.

@ConsensusGurus @MichaelKudrna So my tools are my 30 years I. The business and my awareness of what’s happening around me. The guy running Sweetgreen knows little about restaurants. That should worry you more than my “tools”. Knowledge comes from different places and it all has value.

@ConsensusGurus @MichaelKudrna Tik tok views are great, around 20M I believe. I have not paid a single supplier or employee with tik tok views to date. Most of those are probably from places without a Sweetgreen.
