@MBTA the train that Orange car 471 is on is pulsing as it comes into stations. The whole train surges forwards, slows, repeats until everyone in the car is rocking back and forth. Definitely not normal movement.
@MilesPerHoward Healey’s another one of these centrist Democrats with presidential aspirations that bedevil the party. They’re milquetoast leaders whose primary goal is to just not screw up or offend, so that when it’s president time, they’re the least worst option.
@MBTA_CR your crossing gate in Melrose, Franklin Street, Melrose Highlands has been down for 10+ minutes. Traffic backing up in both directions. No train in sight.
@ThunderWolf08 Feel free to yell at MA for its incredible sluggishness on East/West Rail. AFAIK the only real movement on it is only happening because of a federal grant.
Using automated enforcement for traffic violations is not allowed under state law in Massachusetts. Increasingly, some municipal leaders say it’s time to change that. https://t.co/HCjvOhUCW7
@MBTA is there a timeline on when the second (west side) departures board at North Station will be fixed? It’s been offline for like a year now with a tiny replacement board at its feet.

@TBestig@maxdubler Most of my driving time is spent with someone’s ultra-bright LED headlights right behind me. Or even worse, they’re driving so close to me I can’t see their headlights. They do this even if another car is in front of me, or a red light is visible ahead.
@ThunderWolf08 Re: the long distance network, I find it fascinating how Republicans don’t like trains until they get one or have the serious prospect of getting one. I lowkey think Amtrak’s best bet for survival is expanding to as many red states as it can.
@Amtrak On NEC 175, why aren’t the vestibule doors all being closed? It hugely drags down the passenger experience. The shrieking and grinding noise from the vestibule is constant.
@MBTA_CR Train 295 on the Haverhill is braking terribly at each stop. Feels like the brakes are slipping every time they’re engaged and the whole train shakes. Car 252.

@thebostonlol@RonMariano I’m ready for traffic cameras everywhere. Red lights, buses of all kinds, speed cameras on the roads. 45k dead a year on roads and we keep doing nothing, or performative things like speed limit changes or radar speed displays.
