🚨 BREAKING 🚨
Penn State has received a commitment from 4 ⭐️ 2006-born recruit Kaden Pitre. The 6’0 forward had 44 points in 49 games split between the Flint Firebirds and North Bay Battalion last season. Pitre is a 6th round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Maine native Greyson Peel goes to the @OlympiquesGAT with the 109th overall pick.
The CIH Academy defenseman has a really intriguing combination of size and skating ability. He was present at the QMJHL New England Showcase in April, here’s what I had to say about his performance👇
We have another high-end American prospect off the board as @SagueneensLHJMQ selects Milton Academy forward Blake Wilichoski with the 107th overall pick.
Blake has high-end offensive instincts, displaying his ability to dissect defences with his impressive processing ability and puck skills. He tendered with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL but could be an impactful player for the Sags down the road if he chooses to report.
Drummondville goes south of the border once again to grab 09’ defender Colin O’Leary out of Rivers School with the 104th overall pick.
O’Leary comes in a slender 6-foot-2, 155lbs frame but can use that length to deny opponents the middle of the ice or transport pucks out of his own zone. He doesn’t shy away from joining transition plays either, providing offence from the back end when needed.
The @nlregiment grab Woodbridge Wolfpack forward Liam Fournier with the 103rd overall pick.
Fournier was often a standout for that Wolfpack team in my viewings. He’s a player who is not afraid to throw pucks to the net or throw his body into opponents on the forecheck and plays with a lot of pace and power. He tendered with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the USHL earlier this year.
The @Cataractes_Shaw make it three straight American-born skaters in the 6th round by selecting Belmont Hill defenseman Alexander Guo with the 102nd overall pick.
Guo is an extremely mobile defender who can contribute on both ends with solid rush defending and timely activations in transition.
Shattuck St. Mary’s forward Brayden Hekle is selected 79th overall by @CBEHockey
This is a great pick for the Eagles. Hekle brings a ton of speed and tenacity to each and every shift. He was a consistent standout during my viewings of the National Championship winning Shattuck team thanks to that non-stop motor of his.
The @monctonwildcats take another American-born skater, using the 85th overall pick to select Mount St. Charles defender Mason Stonacek.
Stonacek is a do-it-all defender who played a big role on the Jr. Mounties blue line this season, showing the ability to contribute offensively from the blue line and also make impactful plays in the defensive zone. Here’s a report on his performance at the QMJHL New England Showcase👇
Drummondville takes Dexter Southfield defender Ryan Porter with 86th overall pick of the 2026 #QMJHL Draft.
Porter may not have the desired size for a defenseman but he doesn’t shy away from contact or battles in the defensive zone and possesses great attention to detail at both ends of the ice to make impactful plays.
Belmont Hill forward Robert Dekleine is headed to @IslandersHKY with the 87th overall pick.
Dekleine is always moving and reading the game at top speed, blending speed and power to make plays happen in all three zones. Islanders fans, here’s what to expect from your new prospect👇
The @SagueneensLHJMQ select defender Kasen Walsh out of Noble and Greenough School with the 89th overall pick.
Kasen is a defensive-minded dman who plays a fierce and steady defensive game. Can always count on him to be in the right spots. Solid pick.
To finish out the third round, the @monctonwildcats take recently named NTDP forward Sam Lee.
Lee was a key contributor on the Minutemen Flames team that made a run to the USA Hockey National Championships this season. Get to know your new prospect here Wildcats fans👇
We have four straight Americans selected here in the third round of the #QMJHL Draft! Carter Felt out of Rivers School goes 46th to @oceanicrimouski
I mentioned on the recent @PuckPreps podcast that Felt had been one of my favourite players to watch all season. Brings a ton of energy to each and every shift while being extremely effective with the puck on his stick. Could be a steal for the Oceanic if he decides to report.
Here’s what I had to say about his game after the Massachusetts State Tournament👇
With the first pick of the 3rd round the @nlregiment select St. Mark’s defender Logan Cotter.
Cotter has been a personal favourite of our staff throughout the year showing all the tools of a modern-day top 4 defenseman at the next level. Regiment fans, read up on your new prospect here👇
With the 39th overall selection @OlympiquesGAT select Zaac Charbonneau out of Mount St. Charles.
The 6’1 and 185 lbs forward put up 102 points in 50 games.
With the 34th overall selection @OlympiquesGAT select forward Domenico Borsellino out of @lsllionsaaa
He had 34 points in 37 games this past season at the M18 level.
