Continuing our post-event coverage of the 2027 QMJHL Cup, @ARobScouting has 📝 on all 22 skaters who laced them up for Team Newfoundland, which includes our own Second-Team All-Star Elijah Jack, among others!

2012-born Newfoundland forward William Hickey is currently on track to post the highest P/GP in NLU15 history, averaging nearly over a point per game than Ben Veitch did in his U15 season.
He doesn’t nearly have the physical profile as a Veitch, but the skill level really popped at the Q Cup in October.
The M15 Hockey Québec rosters have been named for the upcoming M17 Challenge, which begins tomorrow.
Tristan Leduc and Théo Lessard have been tearing up the 14U American circuit for the Pens Elite, with Leduc in particular sitting in 6th in the nation in scoring.
Brody Garvin, Philippe Barrette, Thomas Morin and Mathys Caron are other players I’m excited to get a look at.
🚨STOCK WATCH🚨
In our second Stock Watch of the young 2026-27 season, @hnscouting and @poirier98_ have 📝 on 5 players who have boosted their stock due to their strong play throughout October!

🚨POWER RANKINGS🚨
In the 2nd iteration of our Eastern Canadian U18 Power Rankings, the CCL Riverains hold down the top spot, while the SSF Blizzard and Moncton Flyers all make jumps after a strong month of October!
I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Mares this year. Skating is a work in progress but the hands/size combination make for a really intriguing NHL prospect.
🚨BREAKING🚨
2009-born recruit Maxmilian Mares has committed to Penn State! The 6’6 and 231 lbs forward has 16 points through his first 15 games for the Rimouski Océanic this season in the QMJHL.
He’s projected to be a high pick in the 2027 NHL Draft.

Alexis Joseph at full flight has always been a problem. He’s had a really strong showing at this QMJHL Top Prospects game. Consistency remains an issue but man when he’s on, he’s on.
In the first instalment of our post-event coverage of the 2027 QMJHL Cup, @ARobScouting has 📝 on all 23 skaters who laced them up for Team PEI, including a pair of First-Team All-Stars in Tucker Gates and Max Keough!

Catching some M15 AAA Élite action this afternoon with the LSL Grenadiers taking École Fadette Vert et Noir.
A player of note for the Grenadiers is 2013-born Kwency Fontaine, an underaged defender who leads all rearguards in scoring on his team with 8 points in 9 games.
@coyotes48 I thought Fontaine was the Grenadiers best player. Lazure was also very interesting; didn’t have much notes on Vinet but won’t be the last time I see them this year. Fletcher was also all around it, I thought.
Can't recall ever seeing anything quite like this.
Armada rookie (!) Jacob McKinnon has the game-winning goal in every Armada win so far this year – including the Oct. 12 win the league removed. 5 GWGs in 4 wins, officially.
Guévin has been dominant at the M18 level this season for Trois-Rivières.
Going to be exciting to see him infused with that young Shawinigan forward group.
Another OT winner for 16-year-old Jacob McKinnon, who’s up to 12 points through his first 13 QMJHL games.
He’s a late September birthday as well. Only eligible for the 2029 NHL Draft.
