@ARobScouting Any other notables from this game? Thoughts on Vinet?

Plenty of talent from the crop of 2012’s currently playing in QC. Here are a few standouts to keep an eye out for in 2028👀

Grégoire Vouligny
Dante Almeida
Phillipe Barrette

For the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, I decided to put together a Team Eastern Canada lineup.

Looking at the players available from Atlantic Canada and Quebec, I honestly think this team would have been very competitive on the international stage.

The large power foward Liam Costello and high skilled Will Hickey(2012) are two other notable names to look out for

Newfoundland has announced their roster for the 2026 Atlantic QMJHL Cup in October.

- Max McCarthy is the name to watch here. He put up a ridiculous 107 points in 36 games playing for the Eastern Hitmen in the provinces U15 league. He’ll be taking his talents to Shattuck St. Mary’s next season

- I like the addition of a couple of promising 2012-born forwards in Ryan Browne and Maddox Peddle. I expect them both to be key offensive contributors.

- I’m not super familiar with the defenders but Aaron Tellenbach is a good one. Excited to see the rest of the group.

-Max Steele should be tasked with a majority of the workload in nets. Backstopped the Hitmen to an Atlantic Championship last season.
