@BTJAMCD @RichmondRaceway The track is not exactly close to the city, so its a hike, but depending on the age, there is a fun Children's and Science Museum next door to each other downtown. Some really cool places on the river to walk, and amazing history sites nearby if they are older.
@BTJAMCD @RichmondRaceway RIR is great for kids! My 5yr old is obsessed! Get the Fan Ground pass for the day before the big race and plan to spend the day at the track- between the practices, qualifying, and the truck race- the garages are crazy for hours! Bring a Sharpie for all of the autographs!
@RichmondRaceway This kid cannot wait! We are going to camp out this year for the Spring race so we can take in everything all weekend. Thanks for putting on the best show in sports!
@EssensasBlocker Would never have done it in a game, but my buddy and I would always try it in practice. He would loft one in to me from the blue line, and I'd punt it back to him. Worked pretty well with the flat faced Vaughn Legacy's. Not so much with the puffy Brown's I got later.
@Super70sSports Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, Dr. King's "I have a dream," Kennedy's We choose to go to the Moon," and van Pelt's "True meaning of Christmas." The Four Pillars upon which our great American Culture is built. Or should be.
@jasoncundy05@andygoldstein05 Klopp has a chance to take him players for a week of warm weather training and a couple of friendlies in before the fixture list goes crazy. If they got knocked out of the League Cup, oh well. Bigger fish to fry.
@EssensasBlocker Not my favorite goalie growing up, but favorite card! For my 14th birthday, got tickets to see the Hawks play the Capitals in D.C. because I loved Darren Pang. Imagine my disgust when we drove two hours and he was hurt. Instead, Chicago had some scrub from the minors in goal.
@EssensasBlocker Much more fearsome than Lindbergh's mask is the look on Hextall's face. People forget how damn good he was for a few years, while wracking up 100 PIMS a season. He also had a goal and six assists in 87-88. Which was probably more than half his defensemen.
