No gaps for vulnerability should ever be created in how Dogecoin currently exists. That is a #1 priority and completely against our thesis of scaling doge.

We have done countless hours of R&D on these exact solutions mentioned above and multiple other solutions that exist in-between. We will pursue what is best for community, with the goal of scaling Dogecoin transactions and adoption.

If adding ZK to core will introduce foreseeable attack vectors, it will not happen.
