interestingly, i think this framework is also why ivan falls in love with till, even through being “rejected” by till during the meteor shower, ivan loves till because of his unique spirit and how he continues to fight for what he believes is right, which ivan is too afraid to do

people seem to forget the horror of a situation that is alien stage. if i were till, clinging to my autonomy and being forced to perform for my life, but a cute girl in my class was (outwardly) optimistic and gave me hope, i would also cling to that crush like a lifeboat

and ivan would definitely be very cuddly and physically affectionate, right? always leaning on till, hugging him, and asking for kisses. i think this would embarrass till at first, but eventually he starts seeking out ivan for comfort, even in public and subconsciously

ivan could be a gift giver based on his behavior in canon but i have no idea what he would gift. food? or he purchases surprise expensive instruments or art materials till didn’t ask for but finds himself loving. he would be so spoiled and can no longer use his cheap old stuff xD

also, this is off topic but i find it incredibly endearing just how much ivan mimics other characters (4nakt, but especially till) in terms of narrative, actions, everything. i’m finding that he’s a very interesting character to me
