When you really think about the full implications of this statement, it helps you understand the anti-trans mindset. Elon and his ilk believe that there is some combination of words + memes that can convince a biological male to "cut off his penis" and become a woman. They are genuinely afraid of being persuaded to become female. This is a thing they actually believe; and to a man who man who is insecure enough about his masculinity that he could be persuaded to become a female, this proposition is the absolute depth of psychological horror to them.

They can't resolve this cognitive dissonance and they will go to great lengths to avoid the discomfort, to the tune of spending $44 billion on a social media site only to run it into the ground and still look like a giant, unfunny asshole.

The only acceptable reason to have kids is that you want to nurture and care for another being.
That's it. That's all of the good reasons. Not because you want someone to take care of you in your old age, not because you want them to take on a certain career, to give you grandkids, to further your religion. None of that. To bring a child into this world with expectations makes it unethical to have one, it lays the foundation for emotional blackmail; as in, 'I brought you into this world and raised you, had you for this reason so give me that happiness'. No one owes you anything for the things you do out of your own will for your own sake, not even your children.
