@Braytown In my working lifetime income tax rates were much higher than they are now. My electricity bill is lower than it was when I moved here 9yrs ago. Also as a working pensioner I am prepared to pay NI if it helps the U.K. as I say, we have a different mindset.
@Loriagne2@7_StarGirlx Every cloud has a silver lining. We just have the GE in Makerfield only. Only Party Leaders stand, and whoever Makerfield votes for they go to Westminster as PM, then the party leaders get % of MP’s equal to % of vote they got. Not democracy, but it will save loads of money.
@LBC@cfdownes_@Femi_sorry Many large companies are seeing the racist mood in U.K. It won’t lead to more jobs for the ‘native British’, but less. Large companies are moving many highly paid jobs, that can be done remotely, to new offices they are opening abroad. IT is particularly affected.
@lukejcr Hope our democratically PM calls a GE and retires. You lot deserve to be binned by the electorate, those that didn’t vote for Labour and those that did. You disgust this Labour voter who has supported your party for 50yrs. Not anymore though.
@glaisian I know all about him pushing the pensioners into poverty. I live up north so don’t have the same costs as those in the south, but my income is only £56,000 per year, I needed that £200 WFA.
@Goto_paulcastle@Thehuck_59 Maybe he expected his Labour MP’s to message about what the govt. was achieving. Now we know they weren’t doing that, as they were too busy plotting to remove him. Shame on all of them. I want him to call a GE and quit. No party will gain overall victory. Serve everyone right.
@Braytown I’m 71 & I still work fulltime, I enjoy my job & ill health has left me housebound. The tax I pay each month is higher than the state pension I receive, but I don’t object to that. I feel that my taxes are to help others less fortunate, it’s just my philosophy. Blame my Mum.
@SkyNews Starmer should call a GE and resign. Then the country would get what it deserves - probably a divided parliament unable to pass any legislation unless the MP’s can actually work together.
@LiviaAugusta10@Anniepop2027 I think we now know why the achievements of this government were so poorly communicated to the public. These Labour traitors have obviously been undermining Keir Starmer’s government by purposely not communicating anything good being achieved. Disgusted I voted for one of them.
@Braytown So let’s get rid of the welfare state, blame the government, not the arseholes gaming the system. If you know of people cheating then it is your, and everyone’s duty to report them to the authorities, not report them to social media. You are complicit in the crime.
@BjornStormbruke@TedUrchin@LabHoldtheline At least it wasn’t our President, politicians, millionaires, billionaires and business leaders who were raping children, unlike the USA. The figures you quote is an imaginary figure made up by racists on flawed calculations. Idiot!
@LBC@zubirahmed Garbage. Another traitor spouting rubbish to justify his disloyalty. You will never get back into power as you have rubbished our democracy and shown that Labour will never be fit to govern. Sooner you are out of power, the better.
@Braytown I’ve been very lucky in life & never needed help from the welfare state. But I accept the need for it in others less fortunate. The wife with 3 small children whose husband dies, the disabled, the elderly who need home help to bathe or feed them, the man who loses his job.
@charlotteukcity@K4Owen@DeborahMeaden Doesn’t seem like much of a fresh start with the behaviour of the Labour MP’s. Just seems like more of the same shambles that the Tories gave us.
@Braytown We still disagree because I think Starmer was one of the few who really did want to serve the country and do his best for it. History will show us whether he was or wasn’t a good PM. It always does.
@dave43law Labour voter for 50 yrs and now hope Labour get kicked out at next GE. They aren’t fit to govern our country as they are totally subsumed with internal factions fighting. These traitorous MP’s have destroyed my party and are trying to override democracy.
