Retain the law. Repeal the law. Makes no difference to jihadis. The law doesn't apply to them, and not just according to them. And even if it does, they don't care. The statute book is not the Book they believe in. A soft State adds to their resolve.
@ashramachandran Ordered and paid for a lift nearly 2 yrs ago. Keep getting promises but no lift and now sales reps don't even answer calls! New lows of service @ashramachandran

India has the oldest and most diverse religious and spiritual teachings in the world. Besides its own Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Sikh traditions, it has accepted Zoroastrian, Jewish, Christian and Islamic groups. No other country can say this. Shouldn't this be appreciated?
Hindu temples traditionally were great places of learning and education, not just devoted to worship. They were also centers of art and culture. Govt. control of Hindu temples has not only expropriated their wealth but reduced their role in uplifting society.
Did you know?

Kerala has among the highest vaccination rates in India, rejected Ivermectin. The state represents 3% of India's population yet was 65% of cases this week. And then there's Uttar Pradesh, the lowest jab rates, and...you know the rest of the story.

Hinduism as Sanatana Dharma is not only global but universal, connects us to the Self of all beings and the dharmas that govern all existence. Is not a creed or an ideology that is seeking power, but honors the whole of life extending to the eternal and the infinite.
Those trying to whitewash the Taliban today in spite of their ongoing atrocities remind us of those trying to rewrite history to make Aurangzeb look good. The same denial mindset.
The article says: “Economists are concerned about the slow rate of vaccinations…” India just hit a high of 12 million in 1 day; Sadly, our large population makes the task tough but unless I’m wrong, we are vaccinating the equivalent of 1 Australia every 3 days!
@AudreyTruschke Just curious- has Islamic extremism- a genuine danger world over- never crossed your mind as an academic interest? Why this obsession with Hinduism? Seems more of a political interest in India rather than academic pursuit of a religion.
