@McKinnonAl A5: I think that having a good relationship with your students' parents is really important. Being able to communicate well with the parents in co-working together to guide and help the student/ their child grow. #CSCEDchatNZ
@McKinnonAl A3. I think Jesus saw children so much more humble than we adults are. He even says in Matthew 18:4 that those who are humble like children are the greatest in heaven. So we are not to be "immature" but to be humble. #CSCEDchatNZ
@BernadetteMbof1 @McKinnonAl Love that verse Bernie. As we call ourselves 'believers' or 'christians' we are need to walk exactly what we talk; and how can we even try to accept Jesus into our lives when we can't even accept a child in the classroom?. #CSCEDchatNZ
@ponderingDan A5. I would encourage parents to have their kids do basic chores around the house. It teaches them how to be responsible and self-reliant. I believe that this will increase their levels of school learning #PrimarySTEMchat
@ponderingDan A4: Money maths. Having the students play with coins (supervised); whether it's counting, graphing, or even calculating prices for products. Not only will this help them with their math skills, but also with their own personal life skills (being able to shop). #PrimarySTEMchat
@mrkempnz Understanding where the student is at with their learning and being able to construct positive feedback that will help THEM grow in their own learning; not comparing to the other students in the class. Understand and Listen!
A1. Being offended from certain feedbacks. Keen to learn different ways and techniques on how to receive feedback without being offended... #whatisschool
