@Cric_Beyond_Ent If India’s stance is that the Pak govt funds terrorism, then economically isolating them is a valid tool. Players pay taxes on global earnings; cutting off that specific revenue stream is a logical and justifiable strategy IMO.
@GabbbarSingh Rahul has also been at India Today forever....since the headlines today days I think. In an industry with a fair amount of attrition, that implies that he feels like he has institutional support at India Today.
#redrising is the best book series I have ever read. Just finished the 6th book (Lightbringer). Amazing character development, the best fight sequences. Have read a fair number of books, have never ever been this emotionally affected by characters. Kudos @Pierce_Brown
My wife and I, between us, can speak 4 languages. So maybe they need to get out of their bubble and actually look around the world to see diversity in action.
The partion was done not on the basis of religion but belief. The belief that can people of different religion live together or not. One side thought they can't. India thought they could. Imo that gives India the morally higher ground. Always fight tooth and nail for that belief.
Maravanthe - a uniquely positioned beach in Karnataka with Arabian Sea on one side and Souparnika river on the other. 🛣️🌊
This unique combination of sea & river on each side of a highway is hard to find elsewhere and is said to be the only one in India.

@uskhyd@newspaperwallah Well its not like the alternate is a bunch of super qualified intelligent ministers. That’s my whole point - if there was an alternate with a credible face up top, you would see more of an electoral challenge to the current dispensation
@uskhyd@newspaperwallah Also, as far as RaGa is concerned, how can you expect intelligent people to vote for someone like him as PM. He has never been a minister, or a CM. In the one role he has had, as Congress president, he has spectacularly failed.
@uskhyd@newspaperwallah So who did hindutva supporters vote for in 2004 and 2009? Between 2009 and 2014 turnout went up by 8% but BJP polled 13% more votes.
@uskhyd@newspaperwallah If that was true why did the BJP lose in 2004 and 2009? Surely these "Muslim hating" voters were not voting for the Congress in those elections.
@newspaperwallah I personally believe that the biggest unifying cause of the support for NaMo is that people can't stand the thought of having RaGa as the PM.
@newspaperwallah Saying that everyone who disagrees with your worldview is brainwashed is a bit unfair. Maybe people in the bay area who support the present dispensation have some reasoning behind it (E.g.https://t.co/68H6qJho4P)
1) Desis in U.S. were ashamed of an Indian Government that looked helpless during and after 26/11/2009 Terror attacks. They could not explain to their American co-worker or Neighbor next door what transpired over 3 days!!! And how inept the Indian Govt was.
