If you learn how to draw something by watching a video on YouTube, then draw something and sell it, does the owner of the YouTube video deserve a cut?

Expecting AI companies to pay for training material freely available online is missing the point entirely.

James Cameron says the AI copyright debate is backwards: "You're a model already."

Humans learn like AI models do — we absorb, emulate, iterate.

But we don't get sued for our influences. Only for what we output.

@JesseZulak A 10% raise when inflation is 2% is fantastic!!

A 10% raise when inflation is 15% means you're taking a pay cut.

Context is critical.

Focus on a) if you are being rewarded for your results and b) whether or not you're getting ahead.

The answer to both should always be YES.
