@XfinitySupport how do you get to a real person to talk to instead of stupid idiotic Voice agent. I’m supposed to change my password but when I tried to change my password, it says connect to your home Wi-Fi to reset my password. Well, I’m on my home Wi-Fi!
When you share joy with the world, it comes back to you! I am sharing some moments of positivity and hope from my cabin in the wilderness of the Yukon. 🌻☀️
In times of darkness, we yearn for sunshine. In moments of sadness, we search for joy. Feeling joy for each other and everyone has the power to unite us and eradicate hatred. It serves as a reminder to break free from some narrow perspectives imposed by cultures, countries, and religions, and instead embrace all as fellow human beings and fellow travellers on this fleeting journey of life. From my cabin in the wilderness of the Yukon, I am dispatching joy, hope, positivity, love, and healing to every corner of our suffering world.
Neecheewam is an Indigenous organization based in Winnipeg that operates homes for children in care. The majority of their young residents are Indigenous. I received a gracious invitation from them and had the privilege of attending their gathering in Winnipeg yesterday. I had the opportunity to share some of my philosophy on joy and hope, which I have been sharing throughout the country through dance. They generously shared their cultural teachings with me. I was deeply honoured to be included in their sacred Pipe Ceremony. I shared some knowledge about my Punjabi and Sikh background. They shared their worldview on the Indigenous way of living. We found many similarities among us. We also had meaningful conversations about fostering cross-cultural connections and how diverse backgrounds can be a source of building friendships and compassion, instead of creating divisions. I am truly grateful for the sacred Indigenous Drum and other cultural items they gifted me with love, which I will cherish and take care of for the rest of my life. Additionally, the affectionate and caring way they welcomed me profoundly moved me. They referred to me as a brother, friend, or kin, which made me feel like I was part of their families. This is actually so true that we all belong to each other, which we usually don't realize. These kinds of experiences take us to a level of understanding where humanity becomes the only single race, which actually it is.
Yes, we together danced Bhangra too. 🧡🙏🏽🪶
