Moscow is celebrating because it got what it wanted: a sense of impunity, the humiliation of the EU, and division among Europeans.

But there is still a way to spoil the celebrations in Moscow. I urge all EU member states to announce now that they will impose their own national sanctions on these two individuals.

Какого же исполинского, планетарного масштаба позорище со снятием санкций с Фридмана и Усманова. Если бы не 420 страниц домашки на завтра, пошла бы громить, ей-богу.

Как я и говорила пару лет назад, когда предлагала менять яхты на политзэков (чем вызвала знатный скандал почему-то), если это не сделать — то санкции снимут просто так. Ни яхт, ни освобождённых политзэков не останется. Ровно это сейчас и присходит.

Торжество бабла, мерзости и лицемерия. Кому-то, чтобы получить несчастную рабочую визу в Европе, нужно разбиться в лепёшку, доказывая, что он достаточно антивоенный, что никто из его родственников, включая семиюродную тётю, не работает на путинский режим, и выкладывая пачки заочных приговоров в России. А эти двое мудаков, простите, ни слова не сказали против войны — и, пожалуйста, приезжайте, катайтесь на яхте, живите на своих виллах — никаких проблем.

Понял что слово "сво" в миллиард хуже чем слово война. "СВО" ассоциируется именно с мерзостью, с мамашами которые шлют детей на убой, с гнилозубым быдлом которое с гармошкой, в усмертт пьяное в автобусе едет "мочить ххлов", с гробовыми за которые грызет друг другу глотки родня. А самое страшное что это слово "СВО" для них что-то будничное, уйти убивать для них, разрушить украинскую жизнь чтобы заработать на ипотеку – так же как съездить на вахту в Новый Уренгой
СВО слово после которого хочется вымыть рот, в нем собрана вся уёбищность этого государства, этой русскости.

It turns out that, for Europe, it doesn’t really matter whether you support the war or not, whether you are friends with Putin or oppose him. In the end, what seems to matter far more is how much money you have in your bank accounts.

If you are rich, own a couple of yachts, and have the right connections, it appears that sanctions can be lifted without too much trouble. But if you fled Russia with little more than a few belongings because of political persecution or mobilisation, because you do not support the war, then it is a different story: you may be denied a visa, refused a bank account, confronted with countless obstacles, and effectively pushed back into the embrace of Putin’s system. And, on top of that, accused of supporting the war.

Thank you to the European Comission for yet another reminder that, in high politics, money still speaks louder than principles, while the fate of ordinary people often ends up somewhere far down the list of priorities.
