Charles Barkley: “I think one of the worst things about Trump, he’s made it popular to be racist. There’s no consequences for being racist now. A lot of people are wearing it with a badge of courage. He never denounces it. Nah, he should denounce it. He’s made it more acceptable to be racist”

It’s probably concerning for Bill Croskey-Merritt that a 31 year old Austin Ekeler got off his couch and is outplaying him.

[Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT @jmthrivept]

Antonio Williams should have 20+ points today easily but instead we’re going to get people saying to sell in dynasty because of a box score stinker

I am sorry you are going through this, you did a beautiful job. America is proud of you and loves you.

[Right on Rangers @RightOnRangers]

On Sept. 29, 2019, the Rangers played the final game at Globe Life Park, the place we still called The Ballpark.

For 25 seasons, it was summer heat, fireworks, Juan Gone and Pudge, Michael Young and Hambone, Beltré, October and ordinary nights you never knew you’d miss this much.

Lance Lynn struck out 10 as Texas beat the Yankees 6-1, with Ballpark-era greats returning to the field afterward.

Later that day, home plate crossed the street. The rest of us carried 25 summers home.

The gap between the fantasy WR1 and the WR2…

Is the same as the gap between the WR2 and the WR15.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is UNREAL.

[Jared Sandler @JaredSandler]

Game 162
October 4, 2015

Cole Hamels with a complete game and Adrian Beltre with a go-ahead 2-R HR.

Rangers clinched the AL West.

[Jon Becker @jonbecker_]

They say ballparks die twice. Once when it’s played its final game and a second time, a bit later on, when the last man to play there retires.
