I’m so happy to see Junyoung’s fandom growing and to watch more people fall in love with and appreciate him! However, as the fandom expands because of Four Hands Two Sonatas, I’ve noticed a rise in RPF/RPS ship discourse that crosses some boundaries, so I wanted to gently share a few reminders about fandom etiquette. Everyone is free to enjoy the fandom their own way, but please remember to respect these core boundaries:

1. Keep appreciation tweets focused on Junyoung: Please avoid bringing up other actors’ names under tweets meant solely to appreciate Junyoung. Not every post needs to be turned into a shipping discussion.

2. Respect real-life friendships and avoid comparisons: If you see a shipping tweet you don't like, it’s best to just scroll past and refrain from commenting. Lately, I've seen tweets comparing different dynamics like Junyoung and Jihoon versus Junyoung and Song Kang, arguing over which is "better." Jihoon is one of Junyoung’s closest real-life friends literally for years, and Song Kang is just as precious to him. Comparing real people over fictional ships is disrespectful. These are real human beings with real bonds, not a competition.

3. Refrain from using AI to generate romantic or intimate content: Please do not use AI tools to generate images or content making Junyoung and Song Kang kiss or look intimate. This crosses major personal boundaries. Junyoung has been very vocal in the past about how uncomfortable the internet can make him because of how easily things get misunderstood online. Using AI to fabricate situations that never happened only makes that vulnerability worse.

I’m really not trying to ruin anyone’s fun! This fandom has always been such a peaceful, respectful space for teachers, and I just want to protect that positive energy. Again, Lee Junyoung and Song Kang are their own individuals. Let’s appreciate them for who they are, support all of their amazing work, and not limit them to shipping agendas only. KNOW YOUR LIMIT AND BOUNDARIES and Let's keep this space welcoming for everyone! 💚
