The problem with Michael Long's long walk to Canberrra was, that he drove it and only got out of the car at towns to wander a few hundred metres. I saw his decorated vehicles between Shepparton and Benalla Vic, doing 100km/hr, no sight of Long walking let alone runnning at that speed.
