@kikiwheatley @NurseStandard im the same placement mon-fri sat 14hr hca and sun 7hr hca every evening studying it a struggle with a bursary

@NurseStandard they probably couldn't afford it they need a separate job as well! And fund childcare and never see their families :(

@NurseStandard The last thing you need is to try and fit in work alongside to support yourself, how can you give either 100% effort

@NurseStandard what will happen if you already have a loan? Will we say goodbye to people having a career change? Mature students?

@theRCN They should be rewarded not abused, especially as they go that extra mile without a second thought everyday at work

@NurChat you only get the student loan once? anyone deciding to career change in later life no longer can? great loss of mature students

@NurChat I couldn't cope! Working along side a degree is exhaustive, the degree will suffer and students won't be able to commit 100%
