the innovation of tokenized pairs is creating artificial scarcity for memecoins
the cost of creation is higher when the underlying asset is limited
+ a nice benefit is pairs naturally solve pvp because it’s harder to dethrone the paired memecoin winner
when memecoins all use same denominator they vamp eachother by stealing attention
however reality is that the meta itself isn’t why valuations are high, it’s the exponential growth of the mobile apps + social trading
as long as the apps grow, so will onchain
social trading has yet to hit it’s growing pains but it will and it won’t be pretty
after all, mutually assured destruction looks a lot like world peace
Before reaching new levels, you have to rebuild your entire way of thinking.
The person who got you here is completely different from the person you’ll need to become to reach the next level.
That’s why periods of breaking down, losing, and not understanding what the fuck is happening are sometimes necessary.
Before the breakout, everything can look fucked.
Then it clicks.
The alpha is to never stop improving.
I think the market structure for crypto trading has completely changed.
Narratives are moving a lot faster, liquidity rotating from one chain to another and capital moving from an app that has millions of liquidity to an app that didn’t exist yesterday and instantly becomes unicorn status.
Tokens used to have an easier path to billions but are now struggling to hold attention for more than a few weeks.
I think one of the biggest contributors is the transition from Ledger + desktop trading/browser wallets -> mobile, always on trading.
Historically there was friction to buying/selling because of the above process so market structure was a lot slower in both good and bad ways
Now that the entire stack is being abstracted away, the velocity of capital is moving faster, to the point where most apps will have to fight aggressively to defend their moat
And because of this narratives, apps, liquidity and attention all have short half lives. The end state is likely reflexive markets, faster pumps and rotations and more competition for every dollar of liquidity.
We're in the process of bringing all assets onto @RobinhoodCrypto.
We've solved the liquidity issue that many others couldn't.
Pair anything with any asset, for real.
Since there's an actual price oracle attached to assets listed on 4th I'll refrain from listing some assets at the start but the idea is to have everything onchain.
first couple*
the raise will be set at roughly 3k denominated in USD, once the bonding curve has raised that much then it migrates to the v4 pool where the market structures apply.
I'll up the raise and migration MC later on as well.
The first 3 launches using the @4thstdotfun launchpad will have set parameters that reduce the amount needed to bond and migrate to the v4 uniswap pool.
This is moreso of a public demo to show how we've solved the liquidity issue for non-listed assets.

Ok so going back to this, again, we're still in a similar position as we were a month ago.
IMO the next leg in innovation onchain will happen using both equities and v4 hooks.
