- 76 year old retired Colonel Virendra Pratap Singh Chauhan lived in Noida.
- In a local park, the ADM, his wife, and his government gunman allegedly beat up Colonel Chauhan.
- They then filed molestation and SC/ST Act cases against Colonel Chauhan.
- Police arrested the 76 year old Colonel and sent him to Luksar Jail.
- But after the park’s CCTV footage was examined, it reportedly showed Colonel Chauhan sitting quietly while the ADM, his wife, and the gunman were the ones who attacked him.
- The then District Magistrate registered an attempt to murder case against seven people, including the ADM, his wife, and son, suspended the ADM, and Colonel Chauhan was granted bail.
This is why people allege that the SC/ST Act is sometimes misused to settle personal vendettas and ruin innocent people’s lives.

Yes, young Indian talent will create the next Intel and Qualcomm, but for someone else in another country.
Don’t guilt trip them for not staying back, as you’ve made it impossible for merit to thrive in India👎
State rejects compensation to Vishnu Tiwari on 'Humanitarian grounds'. In a reply to National Human Rights Commission, the UP govt says spending 20 years in jail in a false case of the SC-ST act was not the case for Human rights violations.
Our govt has made SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act more stringent and increased the offences listed in the Act from 22 to 47 : PM Modi #BJP4InclusiveVikasa
Indians are blessed to have Modi ji as their Prime Minister.... Never bows down. Never discriminates. Never does caste politics. Never surrenders. Always chooses the country over the chair. Nation first...that’s what I used to believe, I was wrong.
If you ever get a chance to move abroad, do it. Don't think twice.
This is especially true if you are a General Category student, who competes on merit.
See reservation & all is not going away, irrespective of which political party comes to power.
As resources shrink, freebies will expand.
So don't pin your hopes on politics.
Your only legit defense is your hard-work & money that you make. You gotta create opportunities for yourself. The state will not do it for you.
First, become financially strong. Living abroad, allows you to attain financial freedom much faster.
Once that is done, you can always move back to India, if/when you like.
A professor who completed his studies in the USA and rose through merit decided to return to India and serve his country as a professor at IIT Bombay. He resigned from his position simply because he stopped a student from cheating, after which the student died by suicide. An SC/ST Act case has also been filed against him. That’s the state of education in this country.
The SC/ST Act in its present form is a blot on Indian democracy. It has, exactly how the Supreme court had warned before it was overruled, become an instrument of rampant blackmail and extortion, of both the citizens and the State.
Here, I dissect its alarming weaponisation:
Imagine getting arrested overnight, with no chance to explain your side. That was possible under the SC/ST Act, until 2018 safeguards required a basic check first. The BJP government then removed those safeguards. Automatic arrest came back. Since then, courts have found many personal disputes turned into caste cases. People have lost jobs, reputation, years in court, before ever getting a fair hearing. The law must protect real victims. But no one should live in fear of a call at midnight. Bring back the safeguards.
Hear this monologue of Pradeep ji, infact all BJP leaders should do

Do you know that @narendramodi has already started 'Wealth Redistribution Scheme' though the bullshit of 'social justice' where our hard earned money is frivolously distributed to those who can vote for BJP?
In 2013-14 the budget for SC & ST was ₹41,561 cr and ₹24,598 cr. The great Ambedkarite Narendra Modi took it to unthinkable levels of ₹1,96,400 cr and ₹141,089 cr. In 12 years he raised it by 5 times for SCs and 6 times for STs.
In contrast the education budget in 2013-14 was ₹79,451 cr and the same for 2026-27 is ₹1,39,289.48 crore. Do you know how much it has increased in these 12 years of Modi rule? 75.3%! Yes, that's how great a priority education is for Modi.
And that's precisely why our whole education system is in shit because Modi wants all the money for rewadibazi that he has been consistently doing all these years, which went unnoticed till he screwed the GCs by UGC rules.
Yet, this (500-600% increase) was not done to uplift them, but for the chest-thumping that @BJP4India does in election rallies. This is just a data to let you know how electoral gains are prioritised over social upliftment.
Skills add value, rewadis kill it. This is the great wealth redistribution that Modi has been doing, silently. Share it and discuss it. And ask the morons who are defending BJP's shitty policies in these areas.
I will keep sharing more and more data points so that you are made aware of the theft of our hard earned money which is sacrificed at the altar of fake 'Rashtravaad' & 'Hindutva' narrative which is actually 'Ambedkarvaad' & 'casteism' repackaged to pull a curtain over our senses.
I believe @JPNadda ji should be running to the family with ₹1 cr cheque! Every day, 36 students commit suicide in this country over such failures to get admission, pressure, poor system, exams etc. but no one talks about them.
