In general I think that people criticize the system and not people that work in the system.
Think of it as systemic failure; people in socialist countries weren’t dumber than people in western countries, as it has been shown by successes of Poland, Czechia, etc, but the system did not allow bright people to innovate, improve, etc.

This is a part of mouse trap.
Take a bucket and fill it up with water. Drill a hole at the bottom of the can and put a stick trough it.
Put stick over the edges of the bucket.
Cover the can with peanut butter.
Lean a piece of wood against the side of bucket, so mice can climb and reach the peanut butter.
Mice slip to the water and drown.
The trap is ready for the next ones.
Works like charm, use it all the time.
