An AI Summit that sidelines its own builders?

Meanwhile — exhibitors, delegates, startup founders left outside. No water. No clarity.
Media shows celebration. Ground reality was chaos.
If access was limited to select high-value guests, just say it upfront.
Don’t mobilize the ecosystem and then displace them.
This is not how we build India’s AI future. @abhish18@GoI_MeitY@PMOIndia #AiSummit #aiImpactSummit
Indian participation in open source is definitely underrated, and so are many grassroots Ethereum builders working for the long term.
We launched Eth Scholar with a vision to build a sustainable Ethereum talent pipeline in India — onboarding newcomers, supporting developers, creating educational frameworks, and helping contributors grow toward Devcon and the broader ecosystem.
While reaching out for support, we found that many community-led initiatives are often evaluated through very small grant budgets without fully understanding the long-term impact they are trying to create.
The challenge isn’t just funding. It’s ensuring that builders outside established circles also get a fair opportunity to present their vision and be evaluated on potential impact.
If we want Ethereum to grow in regions like India, we need to make the ecosystem more accessible, more open, and less dependent on who is already inside the network.
The next generation of Ethereum contributors may be sitting in a college hostel, a Tier-2 city, or a local community meetup. We should make it easier for them to build.
@VitalikButerin what are your thoughts on creating more pathways for grassroots community builders globally?

Satire got us talking. Good.
But satire isn’t the destination. If CJP wants to matter in 2029, it has to graduate from memes to systems.
Being heard isn’t enough.
Build something. 🚀
My honest take on the Cockroach Janta Party. 🪳
Started as satire the CJI called unemployed youth “cockroaches.” 3 days later: 1 lakh+ members, millions following.
Call it a joke or a movement. Either way, numbers that big aren’t noise. A whole generation is saying: stop ignoring us.
One concrete idea. 💡
Want India in the global top 3? Do it digitally.
AI + blockchain for transparent, tamper-proof governance. With a janta vote opt-in on top so once people choose, the sarkar can’t quietly say no.
Not anti-anyone. Pro-India. 🇮🇳
