1/1 visual NFT per song - each featuring a different dancer. I am honored to work with these creatives, as they are the top tier in their industries.
see the thread below for each NFT
if one were to start a DAO to help raise funds to commission work for artists and promote collaboration while making it sustainable, what mechanisms could you build to incentivize investment from others?
@blockchainbrett appreciate what you’re trying to capture here - that “feeling”. most of us are conditioned to believe that music is to be made for free
@RAC Depends on the nature of what you're releasing.
If it's an old, iconic record - Catalog.
If it's a new release - Sound.
If it's meant for fans new to web3 - Royal.
If it's a bigger experiment with more variables, build your own with Manifold + Bonfire.
@446f6d1 did you mint off manifold creator? always nice to have options: folks at @manifoldxyz@richerd@yungwknd@iamwhitelights build with an artist first mindset (1/1s, dynamic, audio etc), as opposed to say @NiftyKitApp building for creator teams’ needs (collections, utility, etc)
before NFTs, buying art was just that, buying art. there wasn’t a need to consider utility, creator vision, roadmap, dev integrity, fud, audience demographic, rarity, floors, % unique holders, % listed, % influencer owners, % whales hodling, wallets on moby icy tools, on & on &
@446f6d1 definitely cool but smart contracts are only as smart as the creators. web3 is about composability as it is about community, of artists, of collectors, of builders. So no but not no, but yes if it’s for all.
