My wife and I are both self employed we bought our home with cash this year… the plan is to take out a HELOC put half of the funds into a low risk yield bearing account… use this money to make the monthly payments on the debt… take the remaining half DCA back into crypto during the next crypto winter… wait for a 2x within the next four year cycle (usually takes about a year if you know what you are doing and have patience and discipline)… take out the initial crypto investment pay off the loan… HODL the remaining crypto to ride out the rest of that cycle… take the funds remaining from the yield account and do whatever you want with them… I recommend some type of cash flow investment like a rental property… Now you have a paid off home crypto to HODL and an investment property… 6 months to a year later rinse and repeat
