@atouchofsense @AndyLGAtkins Yeah, now do a tally, especially considering Johnson’s past misdeeds compared to Corbyn. Johnson is actually corrupt, whereas Corbyn wore a hat. 🤷♀️
@AndyLGAtkins @atouchofsense I see how you think that, but it isn’t true. The press help Johnson, he doesn’t court them. The press barons own our “democracy”, the bit that’s left after gerrymandering
@atouchofsense @AndyLGAtkins I was replying to this: “Which is fine, unless you were the leader of a major political party and you need to manage your image”
@HarryEarthling1@InnerVoice74 Good luck with that. I’ll stick with spoiling my ballot and encouraging others to do so until we get the democracy we deserve. I refuse to accept having my country destroyed in front of me and being complicit by accepting the status quo.
@HarryEarthling1@InnerVoice74 Labour were in power years, no PR. It turns out they also just adjust boundaries to suit themselves. Democracy, in this country, is a joke.
@HarryEarthling1@InnerVoice74 Sorry, I tried that game. I know they count spoiled ballots, they blame non-voting on apathy. I have voted in my mayoral elections though, since that is actually one (wo)man, one vote.
@BDStanley As right as you are it won’t change the way they vote. What will is addressing the erosion of living standards by increasing public funding with the money you get from sorting global tax evasion and corruption. Deal with the issues.
@doctorcdf Agreed. People need to differentiate from those fascists claiming a Le Pen win, and those of us calling Macron’s victory a warning bell with only a 9% difference required to see a fascist elected.
@MyGineration The empty space at the bottom should have had the question “Are you intending to vote in the next election?” Because without voting any sentiment about the government is moot.
