ROBOTS LEFT THE FACTORY AND SHOWED UP IN YOUR APARTMENT TO DO THE RENOVATION.
It drills the panels, holds the cabinet together, lifts a full shelving unit and sets it against the wall, then cuts a board on the table with a circular saw.
Look at what it lifts. A tall shelving unit weighs around 40 kg and bends under its own weight. The robot carries it upright, walks it over and sets it flush against the wall without folding it.
Then it picks up a circular saw. That is a live blade in both hands, held steady through the whole cut.
Nothing here is pre-measured. Panels slide, screws go in crooked, boards shift under the blade. This is a room in an apartment, not a factory line.
A carpenter charges around $80 an hour for this work.
The robot in this video charges nothing.

It works through a pile of shipments and places them on the conveyor one at a time. Soft plastic bags, cardboard boxes, wrapped bundles.
Every item is a different weight, shape and grip. Nothing sits in a fixed position and nothing arrives the same way twice.
This is exactly where industrial robots always stopped. A factory arm repeats one motion over one part in one place. A pile of random parcels gives it no motion to repeat.
Watch the fingers when it picks up a bag. The grip changes for every item.
No cage, no barrier, no operator with a controller anywhere near it.
This is an ordinary warehouse shift.
Tesla says it wants to build 1,000,000 of these a year.
A ROBOT IS SHOOTING BASKETBALL AGAINST A HUMAN AND IT DOESN'T MISS.
This is Unitree's G1 in a hoodie, throwing at the hoop, catching the rebound and shooting again. A guy plays next to it the whole time.
Shooting a ball is much harder than it looks for a machine. The robot has to judge distance, load the arms, transfer weight through the legs and release at the exact moment. Every miss changes where the ball comes back, so no two attempts are ever the same.
The tether on the floor is a power cable, not a controller. Nobody is aiming for it.
A year ago the same model was winning obstacle races on a stadium track. Now it is playing catch with a person in an office.
The G1 sells for about $16,000 and the smaller model costs $5,900.
Robots stopped being clumsy while everyone was still making jokes about them falling over.

It works the same at hour 1 and hour 9. It never straightens up, never takes a break, never goes out on disability.
Plastering was supposed to be safe from automation. The mix changes consistency as it dries, every wall is uneven, and the pressure on the trowel has to change constantly. There is no fixed motion to program here.
That is why this clip matters more than any factory demo. Factory work is one part in one position, thousands of times in a row. This is a surface that is different every square meter.
A plasterer costs about $6,000 a month in the US.

This is Unitree's G1 winning the obstacle race at the Humanoid Games. It runs down a track lane, climbs a ramp, drops off the edge and keeps running, with camera crews and staff standing a few meters away.
Nobody is holding it. There is no cage, no safety line, no flat lab floor.
Look at how it lands after the drop. It absorbs the impact, corrects its balance in a fraction of a second and keeps its speed. That recovery is the main problem in walking robots, and it was solved on camera in front of a crowd.
This footage is a year old. A G1 costs about $16,000.
Since then the same company released a model at $5,900, and Chinese factories built more than 80% of the world's humanoids in a single year.
Everyone who saw this clip called it a stunt.

The clip is labeled a 20mm ammo resistance test. Rounds hit the chest and the shoulders, sparks come off the armor plates, and the machine stays upright and keeps moving forward.
A 20mm round is anti-materiel ammunition. It is the class of weapon used against light vehicles and aircraft, not against people. Body armor doesn't exist at that level, because nothing a person can carry would stop it.
That is the whole point of the test.
Take the operator out of a machine and the design rules change completely. There is no soft target inside anymore, so armor gets thicker and heavier without limit.
Everything about infantry equipment is built around one number, which is how much weight a person can carry all day. Remove that number and the vehicle stops being a person in armor.

He wanted to know why one bricklayer was faster than another. So he took the job apart.
Every human action got broken into 17 elementary motions. Reach. Grasp. Position. Release. Each one named, timed, numbered.
Then he filmed people in a dark room with bulbs on their wrists, so a single frame showed the whole path a hand traveled through space.
That is motion capture, in 1910, with a camera and 2 light bulbs. And what comes out of it is a labeled record of how a human body actually solves a physical task.
