We have lost too many Journalists in Gaza.
This video of Saleh Al-Jafarawi and Anas Al-Sharif celebrating the first ceasefire breaks my heart.
May God have mercy on their souls 💔
Journalist Saleh Al-Jafarawi was kidnapped by Israeli backed gangs in Gaza City they fired 7 bullets and killed him while his only weapon was his camera.
He was smeared and targeted for two years during the genocide.
May his memory be blessed.
What struck me in this photo is that there’s a street named after Count Bernadotte: he was a Swedish diplomat who saved 31,000 from Nazi concentration camps, became the UN’s first mediator in Palestine, backed the Palestinian right of return and then in 1948 was assassinated in Jerusalem by the Zionist Stern Gang.
Leading global experts just confirmed what we’ve long known: Gaza is in famine. At least half a million Palestinians are facing starvation, acute malnutrition and death. And it’s likely to spread.
The U.S. government is not a bystander to this genocide. We can end it today.
this is something that has not been covered — deliberately — by Western media, the fact that Israel kills children for sport when nearly half of Gaza's population is under 18
Lawmakers were assassinated and wounded by a right-wing, religious extremist pretending to be a police officer and yet this story has completely faded from the national media.
Today is Mohammed’s funeral; he was murdered by an Israeli drone strike yesterday. This man was nothing but a shining example of humanity, doing his part to support the environment.
this man has been trying to get his citizenship for YEARS the “right way” and ice arrested him at his scheduled routine check in. at this point even people trying to “follow the rules” aren’t safe so now what??
here’s the gofundme if you can help https://t.co/oaD1VaNO0R
This is Hossam’s team, and we are sharing his final message :
“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.”
— For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.

AP CALL: Amendment 3 passes. This overturns Missouri’s near total ban on abortion.
This is big for: Missouri was the first state in the country to enact an abortion ban after the fall of Roe in 2022. Two years later, voters have overturned it
While it was tough to learn that amendment 4 failed to pass, we know one thing is true: abortion is a human right. And the majority of Floridians agree with us. Now, TBAF’s work continues.
