As someone who’s long outgrown the Kapil Sharma brand of humour, it’s a relief to have a weekly comedy fix again. Especially, when our screens are only flooded with intense crime dramas #Latent
@Arpitaaa01@Cleartrip@HDFC_Bank Faced something similar during Operation Sindoor in India. The hotels were empathetic and refunded my amount but Air India remained arrogant and refused to refund my money - This when our own government had advised against unnecessary travel.
Finally watched the acclaimed ‘Humare Ram’ theatrical play. Walked out convinced of only one thing: Indian cinema has criminally underused Ashutosh Rana. A talent this formidable deserves far better writing and far more work.
Always felt SA20 and the Big Bash clashing was cricket’s own goal. And who asked for ILT20? Clearly what the calendar needed was another tournament siphoning off good players.
Enjoyed Dhurandhar for its slick production, strong performances, and tightly written script. But its ₹800cr success benchmark worries me. The number now feels less like a milestone and more like a blueprint. Expect copycats soon, when what we really need are lighter films.
@ohshreeya Don’t want to sit in a wedding banquet hall amongst 200 people when drinking. I’d prefer a warmer, cosier place where it actually feels chill. ECO does that well.
Can’t even glance away when films like The Social Network or Moneyball pop up on TV. You simply sit there, spellbound, marvelling at the perfection of the screenplay and dialogue. Honestly, the 2010s were a bit of a dream, weren’t they?
