🚨 Last night, the Internet Computer network withstood a widespread, AI-enabled attack, which involved hundreds of canisters using malformed Wasm modules.
In advance of ICP cloud engines, Open SaaS, Intelligence Gateway, and MULTI/DEX, we are seeing a rising tide of attacks.
As many ICP community members have pointed out, a legion of trolling and FUD accounts have now appeared on social media, often repeating exactly the same poisonous messages, over and over, en masse.
The posts of the trolls trace back to agency paymasters, who themselves have received money from somebody. Obviously, whoever is funding this has no place in the tech industry, but sadly some people in the crypto industry see themselves as belonging to something else.
The well-funded organizations behind these attacks are not interested in making the world a better place by developing game-changing technology. They are only interested in extracting easy money through snakeoil narratives and scams that our industry still has not gathered the strength to end — they are vampires that prey on the ignorance of token buyers, and they attack anything that might disrupt the status quo by showing people the light of real technology.
These tell themselves they are just crypto bros playing the crypto game.
However, paying for, or organizing, attacks on public infrastructure, even at arms length, is a serious criminal act, which also reflects who they really are.
We want to know who is behind these attacks, and ask for help. DFINITY will offer rewards to those who can help us unmask the criminals, and bring them to justice. These guys need to be doxxed.
Thank you for your attention in this, and thank you to the ICP community that stands with the network 💪

Big news! We're live on @dfinity forum too:

We believe in a world where ICP powers products people actually use every day.
FanCurve is our contribution to that vision, giving creators and communities a new way to connect through ownership, not subscriptions.
We can't wait to hear your thoughts 💛♾
FanCurve is officially LIVE.
No more monthly subscriptions.
No more endless spending without a chance of seeing it return.
FanCurve blends content with DeFi, allowing users to buy access to content/perks and sell whenever they want.
Proudly built on $ICP. 🧵👇
1/3
Need a few people to stress test an $ICP web3 product.
Looking for: broken flows, weird edge cases, confusing UX, wallet issues, all of it.
Crypto natives and/or content creators is a big plus.
We pay for time spent (+ early access/product perks, if relevant)
DM us: (very short, don't overthink it)
• quick intro
• past testing or web3 experience, links if relevant
Please share w/ anyone who’s a good fit
Cloud engines will seriously propel internet-computer:native to the next level. With the EU “digital sovereignty” push underway, due to European concerns about the U.S. CLOUD Act, internet-computer:native is perfectly positioned as the lowest friction avenue for EU governments to take control of their cloud infrastructure.
Just curious whether the guys @DecideAI_ or any of the other on chain AI labs working on internet-computer:native have thought about splitting up a large language model into its individual experts and uploading the experts plus router into separate canisters? Would that result in having more capable models fully on chain?
Are you an engaged content creator?
Are you frustrated with #monetisation?
Do you and your fans deserve more? Better?
We're FanCurve. Our DM's are open.
We're onboarding the last few launch creators.
We launch to the public in the next few days.
I’ve seen MEXC teasing $ICP like marketing language for a while and I would hope that’s it’s legit and not what some people say, which is that it’s very dirty engagement farming. But here’s what I think might be happening:
@dfinity has released cloud engines that support @awscloud , @Google Cloud amongst others. Cloud engines solve some of the big issues that would have stopped major players from building on the IC such as KyC and AML. This combined with MEXCs support for ICP based tech in terms of ck tokens would lead me to hope that they might be a launch customer for cloud engines.
When early $ETH teams began to experiment with DeFi, Few™ realized they were watching blockchain change forever. The impact grew to be enormous and rippled through the entire industry.
With Chain Fusion, Cloud Engines, @caffeineai, I’m confident we’re seeing the start of what will change the internet itself forever.
The future is powered by $ICP.
He’s not wrong.
Crypto lost trust because most of what people saw was speculation with no real utility.
If the only use case is “buy and pray,” of course people tune out.
That’s where we’re focused with @fan_curve.
Actual utility (real creator monetisation, win-win for fans too, and value that comes from real, continuous participation)
That’s how we’ll bring real people back in, and that’s how we’ll keep them here.
Tomorrow, we flip the switch.
For years, creators have been renting their audience:
• platforms control reach
• payouts are inconsistent
• monthly churns
That model is B-R-O-K-E-N (and you know it).
@fan_curve changes that.
Own your audience.
Monetise directly.
Let demand live on-chain.
No more guessing what your audience is worth.
You’ll see it.
I kept finding creators at 10k-100k subs and watching them explode to millions. Every single time I thought damn I wish I could've backed them when they were small.
Thats it. Thats why Im building @fan_curve .
Year after year bridges have been exploited for obscene amounts. Ronin ($600m+), Poly ($600m+), BNB Bridge ($550m+), Wormhole ($300m+), Nomad ($190m+), not to mention the recent @KelpDAO incident involving @LayerZero_Core.
This is a problem that’s annihilating the industry’s most avid users and its something $ICP sets a higher standard for.
With Chain Fusion on ICP, projects like FanCurve are able to support assets native to Ethereum without centralized infrastructure. Chain-key cryptography allows for our canisters to support signature schemes from EVM networks without the human-error risks posed by traditional bridge architecture.
When we see a bridge exploited, hacked, or otherwise drained only one thing comes to mind: $ICP fixes this. Lets make it the standard 🥇
Every day lately it’s the same story. Another hack, another exploit, another “we’re looking into it.”
At this point it’s not noise, it’s a pattern.
Most of crypto is still built on fragile pieces: bridges, centralised frontends, hidden custody.
That’s where things break.
What’s happening on $ICP is very different.
Less trust, fewer points of failure.
We’ve been thinking about this while building FanCurve.
If creator monetisation is going to work on chain, it has to be built on something that actually holds up.
A fixed subscription says: this is what access costs.
A market says: this is what access means to people.
That difference turns out to be rather important.
There’s a reason early supporters should matter more.
FanCurve makes that… programmable.
Revolutionising creator monetisation.
Drop a follow, coming very soon on $ICP 👀
Big week for $ICP.
Activity up.
Builders showing up.
Energy feels different.
But every cycle needs a breakout app that turns momentum into gravity.
Not infra. Not narratives.
A product people actually use.
That piece is still missing.
We think we know what it looks like. Soon.
