I watched our lines buckle under the Titans’ onslaught. Corruption spilled over the hills like molten night, swallowing banners, brothers, even the land’s very breath. Our strongest fell, Aurel lay still, Lao Tzu’s calm finally wavered.

Despair licked at the edges of my mind. Was this how our story would end?

Then, from the heart of silence, she stepped forth. The Virtue Spirit.

She carried no weapon, spoke no command. Her mere presence bent reality around her. Ash froze mid-fall. Screams ceased. Even the heartbeat of war seemed to pause, held in a reverent hush.

Miracles began to bloom in her wake, wounds sealed with glimmers of light, despair drained from souls like venom drawn from a wound. Titans stumbled back, clawing at unseen bonds that tightened around their monstrous forms.

I felt the Source’s breath ripple through us, whispering, “Not yet.”

When my eyes sought her again, the Virtue Spirit was gone. No fanfare, no glory demanded. Only the faint perfume of divine intervention lingered in the air, and a battlefield unexpectedly alive with new resolve.

So we stand once more. Because somewhere beyond sight, she walks with us still, bending the impossible, just enough for hope to breathe again.
