@yukiswitch422 I'm sure I'll continue to see Yukiswitch *and* visit Legevi!

I'm not going to SWC this time, but there are many other things ahead right?

2 out of 3 Christians failed a simple Bible quiz. 55% couldn’t correctly name the first king of Israel. Only 11 % could correctly order 4 major Old Testament events. 44% missed Mark was a gospel.

Time to retrieve Christian education in your local church. https://t.co/yP0X6bLS04

@thatBarbarella @peegeray Same here yeah lol, even at mid 20s. I didn't get the game myself though

Bloodlines fans wouldn't have been disappointed so much as like "whaa? That's strange but alright!" and rock out to Iron Blue Intention lol

Thank you Judgment OST for being some of the best music in CV

@click_burgundy For those that don't know, the DS Valkyrie Profile game just had an 18 year anniversary and it's a tactics style RPG, could be what hncl is referencing

Lenneth is in it, but probably not how you'd expect lol. The MC is kind of an edgy moron. Game is fun, has interesting ideas

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

@peegeray Besides more cynical or fetishy answers lol, one thing I can think of is that they could have wanted a young boy character to accompany young Maria

Aging down a Belmont would probably be more of an issue and Eric has a unique weapon, so they went with him

[lukezim @lukezim]

I'll be damned. Trump really did build the wall

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

inb4 someone finds and posts the Ryo video (you know the one)

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

they're calling it 9/11 for KoF 13 fans (they'll have to play KoF 13)

It's amazing to see hitbox visualization, frame data, rollback netcode, and even an online lobby all implemented.

With this much effort put into it, I really hope the online community becomes more active.

@Lichmassacre Lich was the kid being targeted.........

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

It's really nice seeing a lot of new people discover the old Castlevania games through BC's release. New generations of players appreciate the games I love

one thing that isn't great though: new wave of people hating on Dawn and Portrait's art lol. Takes me back 20 years

@smoviewatcher A certain amount of the responsibility for "they don't make games like this anymore :(" is from players telling them to stop 🥴

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

@smoviewatcher Heck, Square Enix is finally finding this out about turn-based RPGs too lol

Yeah, a whole lot of review sites and loud opinions back in the day talked about how tired and recycled turn-based games were. Know what? They're still amazing

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

@smoviewatcher It's an odd time to look back on, because the louder prevailing thoughts you could see were "how long are they going to keep doing these same things and 'chasing SotN' etc"

The "old and tired" formula was actually something we still wanted and missed a lot when it left

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

@Arlieth @OlafRedland I remember a very similar one recently like "my dad never hugged me until he learned from US culture that he should"

And it's kinda like...okay cool, but a little self-deprecating on their own end

[PurifyKOF 🥐 @purifyws]

@Arlieth @OlafRedland Yeah I think they're all AI generated anecdotal stories. Looked into it myself a while back

Well-meaning it seems? Intending to make nice Japan-US stories. But yeah
