Today, I was immensely proud to lay the foundation stone for the Rs. 4,000 crore integrated greenfield Steel Plant by Amit Metaliks in Raghunathpur, Purulia district.
Our primary mission is clear: driving rapid industrial growth to ensure our youth no longer have to leave our State in search of livelihoods.
This 148-acre plant will generate around 10,000 direct and indirect jobs and is slated to be fully operational within just one year.
Since the @BJP4Bengal Government came to power, West Bengal’s economic landscape is transforming rapidly.
Also, in order to boost regional connectivity, a civil airport for Purulia under the UDAN scheme has been announced.
The sons and daughters of West Bengal, your future belongs here at home. Let’s build a self-reliant, prosperous and vibrant West Bengal together.

Well, this just gets even more interesting. If anyone who buys these properties ends up facing a CBI or ED investigation as well, then whoever comes forward to bid at the auction will be putting themselves at risk of becoming the next target of an ED raid. In that case, the entire process will turn into an endless vicious cycle. Surely, our Chief Minister, Shri Suvendu Adhikari, will trace the source and ensure that everyone connected to it is held equally accountable.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে আপসহীন (জিরো টলারেন্স নীতি) পদক্ষেপ অব্যাহত...

ইসলামপুর পুলিশ জেলার অধীনস্থ ডালখোলা ও চোপড়া এলাকায় জাতীয় সড়ক ১২-এর ওপর এক অসাধু চক্র ট্রাক চালকদের থেকে রে��িয়াম নম্বর প্লেট ও অন্যান্য পরিষেবার নামে জোরপূর্বক ৫০০ টাকা করে আদায় করছিলো। কিছু অসৎ পুলিশ কর্মীর যোগসাজশের ফলে বলিয়ান হয়ে এই চক্র দেদার টাকা তুলেছিলো।
স্থানীয় কয়েকজন ব্যক্তিদের থেকে সুনির্দিষ্ট তথ্য পেয়ে আমি অবিলম্বে পুলিশ কে দোষীদের গ্রেপ্তার করে কড়া আইনি পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলাম।
সেই মতো পুলিশ প্রশাসন তাৎক্ষণিক ও দৃষ্টান্তমূলক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে।
প্রত���রণা করে জোরপূর্বক টাকা আদায়ের সঙ্গে জড়িত এই অসাধু চক্রের মোট ৫ জন অপরাধীকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। একই সাথে কর্তব্যে গাফিলতি ও অসাধু চক্রকে প্রশ্রয় দেওয়ার অভিযোগে ৩ জন পুলিশ কর্মীকে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বরখাস্ত ও ডিমোবিলাইজ করা হয়েছে।
রাজ্যের সমস্ত পুলিশ ��ুপারকে (SP) জাতীয় সড়কগুলির উপর কঠোর নজরদারি রাখতে এবং এই ধরনের অপরাধ যাতে পুনরায় কোথাও না ঘটে, তার জন্য বাহিনীকে উপযুক্ত নির্দেশিকা জারি করতে বলা হয়েছে।

আমি স্পষ্ট ভাষায় জানিয়ে দিতে চাই পশ্চিমবঙ্গে কোনো ধরনের দুর্নীতি বরদাস্ত করা হবে না। রাজ্য সরকার সর্বত্র 'জিরো টলারেন্স পলিসি' (Zero Tolerance Policy) কঠোরভাবে কার্যকর করতে বদ্ধপরিকর।
কোনো সাধারণ মানুষ, ব্যবসায়ী বা ট্রান্সপোর্টারকে অবৈধভা���ে একটি পয়সাও অতিরিক্ত দিতে হবে না। যে কোনো ধরনের দুর্নীতিমূলক কার্যকলাপকে আইনের আওতায় কঠোর ভাবে দমন করা হবে এবং অপরাধীদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোরতম আইনি ব্যবস্থা নিশ্চিত করা হবে। স্বচ্ছ ও দুর্নীতিমুক্ত প্রশাসন উপহার দিতে আমরা সর্বদা প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ।

What I think is that Harsh's point is far more logical than Vijeta Dahiya. It seems, CJP started the protest, but Harsh clearly explained what the protest should actually be about. So, can it be inferred that those of CJP who have become the face of the protest have a different agenda? And that CJP don't actually want the problem to be solved? It's like treating the patient instead of curing the disease—you don't want to eliminate the root cause; you only want to deal with the person affected. Watch this debate please...

मैं जानता हूँ कि पेपर लीक कोई मामूली विषय नहीं है। लाखों विद्यार्थी और उनके अभिभावकों के लिए बहुत ही पीड़ादायक है। और इसलिए, पेपर लीक की घटना से अब तक पिछले ढाई महीनों में अनेक कदम उठाए गए। गुनहगारों को पकड़ा गया है, वे जेल में पड़े हैं।

सरकार ने अपनी पूरी शक्ति का उपयोग करक�� कम से कम समय में 22 लाख विद्यार्थियों के एग्जाम हो जाएं, इसका प्रबंध किया। और अभी पांच-छह दिन पहले 19 तारीख को रिजल्ट भी आ गया। और देश भर में उत्तीर्ण हो गए विद्यार्थियों की खुशियों की खबरें भी आ रही हैं।

��ेकिन हम यहां पर संतोष मानने वाले लोगों में से नहीं हैं, और इसलिए मैंने आज फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट के लिए विभागों को निर्देश दिए थे। आज विभागों ने लगातार मेहनत करके देर रात मुझे मसौदा भी दे दिया। फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट और कठोर सजा के प्रावधान वाले इस मसौदे पर कल कैबिनेट में चर्चा होगी। कैबिनेट के साथियों के सुझाव के बाद उसका अंतिम रूप दिया जाएगा। और सोमवार से संसद का दूसरा सप्ताह शुरू हो रहा है, तब जल्द-स���-जल्द इस बिल को सदन में पारित कराने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।

In a healthy democracy, the role of the opposition is not merely to point out the government's mistakes. Its real purpose is to identify potential errors before they occur and help prevent them. That responsibility belongs to the opposition just as much as it does to the government. Going and lying down in front of the Prime Minister's residence, or gathering a handful of people simply to attract media attention by claiming oppression, is not the right way to practice politics. Constructive criticism, backed by facts and reason, is far more effective than symbolic or theatrical protests. Respected PM Sir, we common people expect that the Govt custodians should restrict before the damages happened. You may chase the fast track court but still its post facto. Bharat and you will be recognise when we all restrict the things prior it made damages. Thats what expected from you.
