You’re moving the goalposts.

First you claim these marriages prove nothing because they weren’t consummated at the youngest ages.

Fine. Then you admit consummation happened at 12, which was the accepted norm of the Catholic Church at the time. So by the standards of that era, it was normal. Exactly the same point applies to 7th-century Arabia. Puberty and local custom determined adulthood across virtually every society on earth for most of human history “Europe included”.

The “no one worships them as prophets” line is pure special pleading. You’re not actually arguing the historical act was uniquely evil in its time. You’re arguing that veneration makes it uniquely evil.

That’s not a moral standard; it’s a religious double standard. If the practice was common and accepted in the medieval world (and it was), then either you apply the same modern condemnation consistently to every king, noble, and religious figure who followed the norms of their age, or you stop pretending this is about protecting children and admit it’s about targeting one specific religion.

Richard II, Henry V, and countless other European rulers married or betrothed children. No serious historian calls the entire medieval Christian world a pedophile cult because of it. You only reach for that language when the target is Muhammad. That selective outrage is the actual tell.
