Bringing this back up cuz it's happened again. Weighed a suitcase at home on two different scales - 14.2kgs, got to KIA T2, @Vistara - 17kgs. Is there any way to verify these machines at all?

Are airport weight scanners rigged? Everytime my suitcase is weighed at the airport it's a few kgs more than what it weighed on a scale at home.
