@DontEverLetGo_O@cameidoscope@coldplay Did you get a link in an email or do I need to go on to the website to sign up? (I'm a bit new with the presale stuff!)
@demolitionrats @fionaaajade Yeah 100%! Just select on the other app you have a railcard, and then show the ticket inspector your railcard on the trainline appπ
@seoker4gyu In case you haven't booked already, try: https://t.co/OlWOsmCfJK
It splits up the journey to make it cheaper (choose the "cheap" section rather than "fast"/"best value" once you get the results), worth a try anyway π
@wickedwixx You could try the Virgin Trains Ticketing app, they even give you loyalty points which is great if you're doing a regular journey like that?

@JuliaRaeBrown@fionaaajade Pretty much just the booking fee (and sometimes out of date information). Another great app is the Virgin Trains Ticketing app, you can even earn loyalty points when you book a train + no booking fees! π

@Monkey2Bubble@limedragonsoda@fionaaajade To answer both your questions, you can use the railcard on the trainline app with any other app! Just select on the other app that you have one, and then if a ticket inspector asks then just show them the railcard on the trainline app! Luckily, they aren't solely for Trainlineπ
@rdcj_encino@fionaaajade It charges a booking fee for no reason! If you book direct with a train company it never does... A decent app is the Northern Rail app: https://t.co/zmAFk6m5rN
@thetaizai@fionaaajade Yeah! Just select that you have a railcard when booking through a different website/app! The Northern Rail app is pretty good, and can be used for tickets across the country! https://t.co/zmAFk6m5rN
@firstfl1ght@fionaaajade Probably the East Midlands Railway app https://t.co/crFwkDGaCU
Can be used for any ticket across the country, not just from the east midlands though!
@yA_Monachopsis@VirginTrainsTix@hgvandepeer Your trainline railcard is valid for a booking made through any app! So just select that you have a railcard on the virgin app, then if a ticket inspector asks for it, just show them your railcard on the trainline app until you renew it π
