A parent saw my letter today about us only receiving 9 laptops, so she rang to ask me if she could buy one for a family that is struggling, and all I could think was that the world is a better place for her being in it and I wish there were more like her.
Her kids are ace too.

@jubilee_coop @jonnyhhanson Happy birthday Jubilee!

Update - Over 1100 visors have now been produced, with vital PPE distributed to Care Homes, Chemists, Health Centres and Vets. Fantastic work by Mr McCoy, Mrs Hyndman, Andrew McCullough & @LarneHigh. Thanks to everyone who has supported our appeal.

I love this quote from Margaret Mead “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” Very relevant for today’s challenges and opportunities. Do you have a favourite relevant quote?

[Rhonda McCoy @purpleroni247]

@larnegrammar Thank you so much to all who have donated so far! People are so generous!

[Larne Grammar School @larnegrammar]

Mr McCoy and Mr Kincaid (HoD Technology and Design @LarneHigh) have been working on a new visor design which will improve efficiency of their production line. They aim to create another 500 visors and continue to support our local #FrontLineHeroes

“I’m convinced of this: Good done anywhere is good done everywhere. For a change, start by speaking to people rather than walking by them like they’re stones that don’t matter. As long as you’re breathing, it’s never too late to do some good.” #MayaAngelou

[Larne Grammar School @larnegrammar]

Mr McCoy from our Technology Department has been busy 3D printing visors to help meet the demands needed for our Frontine workers. His target is to produce at least 500. If you are able to help supply the material needed to produce the visors, please get in touch.

Quarantine Day 36,489: Joe Wicks has fully lost it and is smashing his mint green guitar against the fireplace (for 12 reps in 5 sets).

Don’t waste your time hanging around people who try to belittle your dreams. Associate with people who inspire and challenge you, lift you higher and make you better.
