@Jasoos01@Black_Huncho007@lifeofmustapha Depends on who you ask, Jews think it refers to a succession of prophets(Joshua, Elijah etc)and Christians think it’s about Jesus
They both believe it has to be an Israelite
Also Deuteronomy is part of the Torah which was given to Moses
@Black_Huncho007@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha In Deut 18:15 Moses is speaking directly to the Israelites and says the Lord will raise up a prophet like him from among you(the Israelites). The prophet has to be an Israelite
@Black_Huncho007@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha In John 14 Jesus is speaking directly to his disciples
Verse 17 says the world neither sees nor knows the helper and that the disciples know him, for he lives in them. He cant be Muhammad
Verse 26 explicitly calls the advocate the Holy Spirit; Muhammad isn’t the Holy Spirit
@knewbetter164@RedMedia_us You are right about the consent, good point. I just take what the bible says and it calls it an abomination. I assume you aren’t Christian so I dont think we will agree but I’m not going to agree with something God calls an abomination
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha There are rebuttals for all of these but since this is going no where lets grant all of these, none of them lead to islam. The God described in the Torah is not like Allah. You havent given any compelling reason why a Christian or Jew should follow Muhammad to become a muslim
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha Using a 7th century book to determine what was originally written in a 1st century book is just circular reasoning, not a proof
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha Are you saying my logic is flawed or not? If so then show me where I went wrong with the logic and if not then you agree with on the grammar of the sentence
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha You say it was corrupted by Paul. Following your logic, how do you know Paul didn’t add the part that says no one can see God?
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha Kids are the authority over what words mean?
I never said you believe in the Bible but you are arguing about what the words in the Bible mean
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha Everyone can believe what they want to. You want me to believe what you believe but you haven’t proved anything.
You are telling me Paul corrupted the Bible.
I haven’t yet seen what Paul corrupted.
If you have yet to prove any of what you have said why should I be a muslim?
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha You say gymnastics yet you just twisted the scripture to make it fit what you want it to say. It does not say
only The Father is God
It says
The Father is the only True God
If Im doing gymnastics then why are you lying about what the bible says
@Jasoos01@lifeofmustapha I could say the same thing. The Bible is very clear, straight to the point about God. “ Hear O’ Israel: The Lord our God is one” Deuteronomy 6:4. “I am Yahweh, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God”. Isaiah 45:5. No Christian would say we believe in multiple Gods
