@MrNobodys2cents@Fun_Viral_Vids2 It’s not about his looks it’s about his overall vibe, it’s incredibly suspicious to be recording a group of girls while you ask them to “show them a good time”
@AlexCorwin10@ItsNotGivingX If that were true you wouldn’t ever eat burgers or pizza or snacks or treats ever in your life. Also, nutritionists recommend majorly plant based diets
@8_gounce you think this is a 'gotcha' but being pro choice has everything to do with veganism because vegans don't wanna subject sentient animals to unnecessary pain, same for women. You can eat meat idgaf but don't criticise others that try to do less harm lol
@charrlysa If this were true and people truly believed it, most people would be buying the minimum amount of meat required to live, and not spending money on treats such as burgers, steaks, and other foods. Besides, we genuinely don't need as much protein to thrive as we think.
@SlippinJimjon@charrlysa you calculate how much water is needed to raise one cow, then divide accordingly. Yes, the water needed for one cow is an insane amount.
@goober59914 ikr! Learning more vegetarian recipes really helped me, knowing not to rely on meat so much is v helpful though I understand you don't have much control when you eat what your parents are cooking
@DillyDallyD0lly@spacemanonfire@SipOfKoKo I understand not everyone has the privilege to speak to a nutritionist, especially those in the US, but the nutrition science is out there, for free, on the internet. Just make sure you’re not reading funded research by companies which will inevitably be biased.
@spacemanonfire@SipOfKoKo@DillyDallyD0lly Nutritional yeast is a staple in vegan cooking, very cheap and packed with b12 and protein, as well as fortified foods. A lot of vegans do still supplement this but so do meat-eaters. The animals you consume are supplemented B12 bc it’s of bacterial origin, not animal
@spacemanonfire@SipOfKoKo@DillyDallyD0lly i don't know what dietitians you've been talking to, but every nutritionist I've ever spoken to agrees a vegan diet is perfectly fine if you know what you're doing. You're bound to have deficiencies with any diet if you don't know anything about nutrition, veganism is no diff
@sheliamarie69@oskaandme@dieworkwear you're free to nitpick and judge every one of her actions to find an ounce of inconsistency, but that doesn't take away the fact that you're doing much less and are distracted from the actual point which is to be conscious of your own actions
@OMG_itsaDiNo@lostsocks___@leahdionne__ I agree, except we know as a fact it’d be impossible to satisfy the current demand for meat without mass production/exploitative methods. It is still good practice to reduce the meat and increase the plants in our diets (it’s healthier, and we discover so many yummy foods)
@lostsocks___@leahdionne__ Because those corporations revolve around the consumer’s decisions. I agree that it’s currently not possible to convince everyone to go vegetarian, but that doesn’t make our actions meaningless. We should all make an effort to buy second hand, boycott meat products, etc
