@AlwaysShanell@NICKIMINAJ As the mom of an autistic child, I find this very disingenuous. No where did that girl mention Autism. Also, nonverbal doesn't automatically mean autistic. There are nonverbal children who aren't autistic.
@JaimeVelo@therabbithole@ninaturner BS. Black ppl know that we have to work extra hard to reach certain levels. So we know that, more than likely, a black person is overly qualified for the position.
@to_wumbo@sceptic100@SEMPER_The_Book I live in NYC. I paid 8.99 for a dozen of reg medium eggs the other day. Where are these cheaper eggs u speak of. Please inform me
@ZekeSosa @Mind837896 @Movebackbug_@AshleyShyMiller The DOE ensures that my son gets speech, physical and occupational therapy in school. My son has autism. Without the DOE he would be on a waiting list for services through the state. The DOE works for my family and many others
@RebelRidgetop@Benbburman@SchnutsM@circle10leather@Bakari_Sellers@KamalaHarris My claim is not something that I pulled out of the air. It is a FACT. To many swear yall know wtf you are talking about when u don't know a damn thing. Eliminating the DOE would be detrimental for special needs children and their families.
@Shakem_Akhet@Efeso1001@baddieeey It also ensures that my son who has a IEP for a disability (Autism) receives services in school. He gets speech, ot and, pt. Before the DOE states didn't have to educate disabled children. Revamp, yes. Abolish, hell no.
@Ramses1712845@baddieeey Regulation that forces states to make a space for special needs children in public school. Before the DOE special needs children was home schooled or institutionalized.
@Yk_SiMBA @DC__Exile @XaviercMiller Force states to ensure school placement for children with disabilities. As well as ensuring that special needs kids receive services such as speech & ot in schools. Before the DOE states didn't have to make space for special needs children in schools.
@LV_SteveO@f_giugliano Children with disabilities. Before the DOE, they were home schooled or institutionalized. The DOE forced states to find school placement for them. My sons public school is amazing. Eliminating the DOE is a no-no for my family and all the families in my sons school.
@DrHoosierHermit@WallStreetApes@Royalacresrod I have a son with a disability who gets his services in public school. There is no charter in my city to support him. Private school is too much even in a 2 parent income household. Eliminating the DOE could affect him. We have more to lose than ya'll realize.
