An annual collective Wellbeing Index, based on what people across the UK have said about thier social, economic, environmental and democratic wellbeing.

Thanks to Carnegie and @wearenewlocal for hosting a really enjoyable roundtable discussion this evening, exploring how we best respond to the report findings and put wellbeing at the heart of decision-making.

The results are very aligned with our Greater Manchester priorities: #GMLiveWell, #GMHousingFirst, #MBacc, #BeeNetwork, #SaferStrongerCommunities and the #Environment.

And the report recommendations provide a healthy reminder of how important it is that we boldly continue work - locally, regionally and nationally to:
1. Measure what matters
2. Repair democracy
3. Take a fresh approach to governing
